Congratulations on the EP, Joyce; breathing life back into R&B.
For a long time now, I have always wanted to be a part of something special, a part of a collective of other artists who are hungry, who are willing to continue to learn no matter where they are in their work. But I have forgotten that “squares do not fit in circles”. Since my youth, I have never felt like I fit in with groups. It is a disheartening thing to ponder about but at this point in my life, I feel confident enough in my work, in my understanding of self-expression, that I can truly do what I am devotedly passionate about doing.
